For the fourth year in succession, the Paralympic World Cup is returning to Manchester. In May 2008, the City will again play host to the annual international multi-sport event for elite athletes with a disability.
Three world class venues in Manchester will showcase the dynamic sports of track cycling, swimming, athletics and wheelchair basketball over five days of competition.
The Paralympic World Cup is the only major international competition before the Beijing Paralympics and will be a major boost for British competitors aiming for medals in China. The competition schedule is specifically designed to closely replicate conditions expected in Beijing in September.
