The fastest track cyclists on the planet descend on the National Cycling Centre, Sportcity in March 2008. The Great Britain team, including Bradley Wiggins, Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton will be on home soil defending seven world crowns won at the Palma championships in 2007. There will be no holding back for the top 30 track cycling nations aiming to win the coveted rainbow jerseys and qualify for the Beijing Olympics later in the year. Manchester will witness the thrills and spills of five exciting days of track racing as the world’s fastest athletes make history.
